Casa Hogar Alegría, The institution of Private Assistance, was founded thanks to the great commitment and social sensitivity of a group of friends in Toluca, State of Mexico, on June 24, 1997.
At the time, the group founder detects the enormous needs that exist in the pediatric population, specifically in vulnerable girls who are in that moment in the streets of the State of México. Unfortunately, and since then, the social divides in our country still remains a huge challenge to attend to.

At the time, the group founder detects the enormous needs that exist in the pediatric population, specifically in vulnerable girls who are in that moment in the streets of the State of México. Unfortunately, and since then, the social divides in our country still remains a huge challenge to attend to.
Since the beginning of the work initiative, the founding group identified that the formation of a girl helpless requires more than just a place to live and eat, so that it starts with the idea of forming a hostel that provides the best care. Thus, it is an Institution of Private Assistance focused on the attention to girls. However, the group founder realizes that the formation of the small is not only to provide shelter, food and the school, since girls do not resolve the problematic emotional and behavioral, as well proposed to provide a comprehensive training and professional support for that in the future, girls have a better prognosis for return productively to society.
Since the beginning of the work initiative, the founding group identified that the formation of a girl helpless requires more than just a place to live and eat, so that it starts with the idea of forming a hostel that provides the best care. Casa Hogar Alegría proposed that organised civil society to take action and support to ensure that more children have access to basic human rights. Therefore, since 1997 he has worked for the Institution to provide comprehensive training and support in a family environment, loving and professional that transforms the lives of girls who are victims of abuse and neglect that do not have networks of parental support.
The idea began as an educational space that could be likened to the life of a home, providing personalized attention and follow-up counseling, school accompaniment and development of values. In the beginning, he ministered to 8 girls in a rented house; we now have two locations in Toluca, State of Mexico, with a capacity to cater to 120 girls, adolescents and young people, Based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, with attention span to 50 girls, adolescents and young people, and in Zitácuaro, Michoacán with attention capacity of 55 children.
